Ethan Duncan, Men's Volleyball

Ethan Duncan had a big part of a big win in his return to the court and has been named the Birchwood Automotive Group Wesmen male athlete of the week.

After sitting out the first 14 matches of the season Duncan, a fourth-year left side with the Wesmen men's volleyball team, returned to action this weekend and helped the Wesmen earn a split at Saskatchewan.

On Saturday, Duncan broke out with a career-high 16 kills and added eight block assists and seven digs as the Wesmen scored a four-set victory over the Huskies. Duncan had 34 swings and hit .324 for the match.

Duncan missed the entire conference season prior to Friday with an injury and in his return to the court Friday night he had three kills on 10 swings with just one error. He added an ace and a block assist in a four-set loss.

The Wesmen host the MacEwan Griffins for two matches this Friday and Saturday.
