Ethan Duncan (Men's Volleyball): Duncan, a second-year middle blocker from Winnipeg’s Westwood Collegiate, helped the Wesmen dig out a hard-earned split in a home-and-home series between two of the country’s top teams.

Duncan had five stuff blocks, four block assists and accounted for 13 points last Tuesday as the No.7-ranked Wesmen scored a come-from-behind five-set win over the No. 3-ranked Brandon Bobcats.

Last Friday in Brandon, Duncan backed it up with an efficient attacking performance in a five-set loss to Brandon. Duncan had 11 kills on 15 swings with only one error, hitting at a .667 rate for the match. He also added two block assists to account for 12 points on the night.

Also receiving consideration was teammate David Bommersbach, and Narcisse Ambanza of men’s basketball.
