Former Wesmen Duff paces Canadians to another win

Former Winnipeg Wesmen star Justin Duff helped Canada cruise to its second win in as many days Wednesday in Veracruz, Mexico.

Duff registered eight kills and two blocks as the Canadians made quick work of the Dominican Republic, 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-16) at the Pan-American Cup. The match took a mere 67 minutes to complete

The Canadian team also features former Wesmen libero Logan Brennan and is coached by U of W head coach Larry McKay.

With the win, Canada moved to 2-0 in pool play ahead of Thursday's clash with Brazil, which has yet to drop a set in the four-team Pool B. Canada previously beat Colombia on Tuesday to open the tournament.
