WINNIPEG - In Saturday's rematch, the Wesmen earned the weekend split with the Dinos in a 3 - 1.

(22-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-17)

Leading the Wesmen was fourth-year Middle Garrett Jones with 16 kills. Followed closely by Outside player David Bommersbach who had a strong match with 13 kills and two service aces.

The Dinos were led by the fifth- year Outside, Alex Bader who had a match-high 18 kills. With 10 kills was Regan Fathers, also had 4 digs.

Head Coach Larry McKay liked how the team bounced back from Friday nights lost. "They found a game that worked well for them. It took some patience and emotional stability to find it. And I'm happy that they did."

The Wesmen with the win, take their Canada West record to 7 - 1. The Calgary Dinos leave Winnipeg with the split and now have a record of 5 - 3.

Calgary returns home to face the Saskatchewan Huskies next Friday and Saturday.

The Wesmen continue their homestand, facing a tough Thompson Rivers Wolfpack. games are Friday and Saturday at the Duckworth Centre.
