Wesmen steamroll Tigers for second straight victory

The Winnipeg Wesmen continued their roll through Halifax Tuesday with a straight-sets win over the Dalhousie Tigers.

Ethan Duncan had eight kills and hit .400 for the match as the Wesmen men's volleyball team downed the Tigers for the second straight night, 25-15, 25-12, 26-24. Duncan also added two aces.

Daniel Thiessen added seven kills on 12 swings and hit .417 for the Wesmen, who hit .286 as a team. 

Middle blocker Garrett Jones had a match-high seven blocks and added five kills on nine swings (.444), while freshman reserve Will Racano came off the bench for a career-high six kills. Nigel Nielsen, also a freshman, added five of his own. 

Kobe Shannon recorded seven kills to lead the Tigers, who hit .026 on the night.
