LANGLEY, B.C. -- Kalena Schulz moved up in the Canada West record books Friday night.
The fifth-year Winnipeg Wesmen left side moved into the top 15 in Canada West history in career aces during a 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-21) loss to the No. 1-ranked Trinity Spartans Friday night. Schulz, who has played the past three seasons with the Wesmen women's volleyball team, now has 117 career aces, which is the most by a Wesmen player since the school moved into the Canada West conference in 1999.
Schulz also added six kills and two block assists. Ashleigh Laube led Winnipeg with 10 kills and 12 digs, her second double-double of the season.
Madison Fyvie added 11 digs for the Wesmen (0-3).
Hilary Howe had a match-high 16 kills for TWU (3-0) and Savannah Purdy added 10.
