The Winnipeg Wesmen men's basketball program is excited to announce details for its youth summer camp featuring one of our most decorated former student-athletes.
The Wesmen Men's Basketball Summer Camp will run Aug. 11-15 at the Duckworth Centre with former Wesmen
Shawn Maranan, current assistant coach Braeden Floyd and other UWinnipeg coaches and student-athletes leading the way.
The camp is open to boys ages 11 through 17 and will be broken into three-hour sessions based on age group. In those sessions, campers will learn a wide variety of skills from basic fundamentals to understanding and applying the decision-making needed to be a well-rounded basketball player. Each day includes a mix of skill development drills and live gameplay to apply what you've learned in real time with the goal of making learning fun while helping each individual grow as a player.
Players of all skill levels are welcome and the Wesmen will provide a fun and inclusive environment in which to learn and improve.
