AboutÂ
Junior Wesmen offers youth basketball programming for female athletes in Manitoba. Our goal is to offer high-quality, developmentally appropriate basketball training in a fun and competitive environment. We offer girls club programming, as well as a variety of other development opportunities such as camps and seasonal training groups. Our training is aligned with Sport Canada's model for Long-Term Development in Sport & Physical Activity. Junior Wesmen basketball provides athletes with opportunities to develop fundamental basketball skills, enhance their mental performance, and learn valuable life skills such as leadership, communication, and teamwork. All programming is overseen by the University of Winnipeg Wesmen coaching staff and facilitated with help from our Wesmen student-athletes.Â
