How You Can Support Wesmen Student-Athletes

The Winnipeg Wesmen are proud to offer fans, alumni, and community members a variety of ways to make a lasting impact on our student-athletes.

Through a number of scholarships curated for Wesmen Athletics, supporters can give directly to athletic scholarships, helping ensure our student-athletes have the resources they need to excel in the classroom and in competition.

Below are a few ways you can choose to give back to the Wesmen and our student-athletes.

WESMEN SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The general scholarship fund of Wesmen Athletics. By donating to this fund, you are supporting the department as a whole and allowing us to provide scholarship resources across all four of our teams.

DAVE TORZ MEMORIAL MERIT DISTINCTION

Established in the memory of the former Wesmen men's volleyball player and longtime UWinnipeg employee, this award is given to a Wesmen volleyball player who exemplifies the characteristics of a team player, values kindness and displays a strong work ethic, determination and humility.

WESMEN TEAM SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS

In addition to the general Wesmen Scholarship Fund, supporters can also donate specifically to the team of their choice, a way of ensuring your generous donation goes directly to the team you want to assist. Simply click the link below and select the team you want to support. It's that simple.

WESMEN BOOSTER CLUB

Whether you're a long-time supporter or a new fan ready to "Rep the W," the Wesmen Booster Club is a great way to give back. By registering as a Wesmen Booster, you will be given access to fun perks and exclusive offers including parking and season passes.
