Head coach Mike Raimbault took over the full-time job of leading the University of Winnipeg men's basketball program in 2010.

A former player at Brandon University, Raimbault came to the Wesmen after a successful stint as the head coach of the University of Northern British Columbia Timberwolves. In his final season in Prince George, Raimbault led the then-CCAA school to a Canadian college national championship. He was named B.C. colleges coach of the year and national coach of the year.

Prior to that, Raimbault spent the 2007-08 season as the interim head coach of the Brandon Bobcats, where he led the team to a 20-2 record in the Canada West.

In 12 years at Winnipeg, Raimbault has compiled an overall record of 167-161 and, for his U Sports career, has an overall record of 187-163.Â
