Selva Planincic helped the Winnipeg Wesmen sweep the Regina Cougars and has been named the Wesmen Birchwood Auto Group female athlete of the week. 

Planincic helped the streaking Wesmen to two victories in Regina leading the team in kills both nights. 

On Friday, Planincic was a picture of efficiency, making just one error on 26 swings with a match-high 14 kills. She also added two aces and three block assists in the four-set victory. The following night, in a straight-sets win, Planincic recorded 11 kills, five digs, an ace and a block assist. 

On 53 swings over the weekend, Planincic made just two attack errors and hit .434.
