Competed in high school for the Miles Macdonell Buckeyes and helped the team to the AAAA provincial tournament, where the Buckeyes finished sixth ... Most recently played her club with the FC Manitoba Juniors ... Began playing premier-level soccer in the provincial club system in her U12 year, when she jumped up in age class to compete for FC Northwest ... Also competed for the 1v1 Futbol Dreams Academy.

"Leiva is a very technical player who will be able to contribute right away. She has a good soccer IQ and maturity that will keep getting stronger. We are excited to see how Leiva will progress at the U Sports level."
