Appeared in five conference games as a true freshman ... Made her Wesmen Canada West debut playing a season-high 45 minutes in 5-1 loss at Calgary, Sept. 11, 2022.

Before Winnipeg
Played club soccer with both FC Northwest and Valour FC Elite ... Was recruited out of a Wesmen identification camp ... Joins her sister Jadyn on the Wesmen roster ... Also played high school soccer with Garden City. 

Coach Anderson on Friesen:

"Peyton has gained a lot of experience playing with her club team and Valour. Her big sister Jadyn represents what it means to be a Wesmen, so we are thrilled to have more of the family involved. Peyton will add important depth to the centre-back position."
