Wesmen Down WolfPack 80-64 On The Road In Kamloops

Kamloops, BC-  The University of Winnipeg Wesmen outscored the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack 45-28 in the second half and rolled to an 80-64 victory in Canada West men's basketball action Friday night.

SYNOPSIS

The Wesmen improve to 9-4 on the year while TRU falls to 6-7.  TRU led 19-18 after the first quarter and held a 36-35 advantage at the half.

Winnipeg we led offensively by Narcisse Ambanza (1st guard, Toronto, ON)  and Sean Tarver (3rd year, forward, Baltimore,MD) with 20 points apiece.

TRU's main offensive weapon was Volodymyr Iegorov (5th year, forward, Donetsk,Ukraine) with 19 points. Luke Morris (4th year, forward, Mission, BC) added 17 points.

Winnipeg had 10 blocks to TRU's 6.
