QUOTES:
Wesmen Coach Diane Scott:
On her teams ability to battle
"I was really pleased with our resiliency and was really happy with our game plan. We let it unravel a couple of times. We really need to stay in our system. For the most part though, we kept Iullia at bay and we did a good job in our middle. We served pretty well. I am pretty pleased overall. We shouldn't let a 14-8 lead disappear. But that's another lesson learned. After our practice this morning I wasn't sure what to expect. We played with heart and with grit. I think a respectable loss. That's not what our goal is but we competed. That was one of our goals."
On Growing Pains:
"We have had quite a few of those this year. We know we are capable. When we play volleyball well we play very well. It is a matter of maintaining that and having composure on our side. First contact is critical on any team. Especially a young one."
