The Winnipeg Wesmen weren't able to get much going offensively Friday and dropped a straight-sets decision on the road.
Liam Kristjanson had a team-high 11 kills but the Wesmen men's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (28-26, 25-21, 25-18) defeat at the hands of the Thompson Rivers Wolfpack in Kamloops, B.C.
Kristjanson hit .217, but the Wesmen made 25 attack errors against 34 kills, and finished the night hitting just .101.
It was Winnipeg's third straight loss and dropped the Wesmen to 2-3 on the season.
Thompson Rivers, which got 16 kills from Sam Flowerday, improved to 3-2. TRU hit .235 on the night.
The Wesmen were holding set point in the first with a 24-22 lead, but the Wolfpack scored the next three points to flip the scoreboard. The Wesmen also held set point at 26-25, but two kills and an ace gave the Wolfpack the first-set win.Â
