EDMONTON —
Megan Kendziora returned to her home town and put a liking on the MacEwan Griffins.
Kendziora, a fourth-year right side from Edmonton, knocked down a career-high 19 kills and helped lift the Wesmen women's volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-20, 22-25, 25-17, 25-15) Canada West conference win over the host Griffins Saturday night.
Winnipeg improved to 2-0 on the season ahead of its home-opening series against Mount Royal Saturday and Sunday.
