After collecting a career-high for steals in a game, Raizel Guinto is the Birchwood Auto Group female athlete of the week.
Guinto, a fifth-year guard, averaged 17.5 points per game in two wins at MacEwan on the weekend, but it was her defensive stats that stood out even more. Guinto collected a career-high eight steals in a 74-59 win Saturday night, which stands as a career-high including her four years spent at Louisiana Tech. 
Guinto had 15 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals in a Friday-night win, and followed that up with 20 points, three rebounds and two assists on Saturday.
