Isaiah Olfert had one of his best weekends of the season and has been named the MBLL Wesmen male athlete of the week.
Olfert, a fifth-year left side on the Wesmen men's volleyball team, combined for 38 kills over two wins against the Manitoba Bisons, hitting with efficiency as well.Â
In a five-set win last Thursday, Olfert had 20 kills — his fourth match with at least 20 this season — and hit .240 while collecting seven digs.Â
Saturday afternoon, in a match the Wesmen wrapped up in four, Olfert hit .314 and had 18 kills with seven digs.Â
