Posting a career-high has earned Camille Forbes the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Wesmen Athlete of the week.Â
Forbes, a Masters student and keeper on the Wesmen women's soccer team, posted both a career-high total in saves for a single match and for a weekend with back-to-back double-digit performances.Â
Saturday at MacEwan, Forbes made a career-high 18 saves, which is one off the Wesmen program record of 19 set last year by Madison Priebe.
The following day at Alberta, Forbes made 12 more stops, giving her 30 for the weekend, a career-high.Â
The Wesmen are home Thursday night in the annual Duckworth Derby against Manitoba (7 p.m., Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex).
