An award-winning week for Emma Parker also includes the Birchwood Auto Group Wesmen female athlete of the week. 
Parker, a fifth-year left side, was named both Canada West and the U Sports women's volleyball player of the week leading her team to an upset of the No. 2-ranked team in the country, the Alberta Pandas.
During Saturday's five-set upset, Parker put up 21 kills and 21 digs to lead the Wesmen. It was her seventh career match with at least 20 kills and at least 20 digs, and the fifth time in her past eight matches she's posted 20 kills or more. 
She also recorded one ace and two block assists. 
On Friday, in a four-set loss, Parker again led the Wesmen with a double-double of 15 kills and 13 digs with an ace and a stuff block.
