Another weekend full of big stats has earned Kyanna Giles the Birchwood Auto Group Wesmen female athlete of the week award. 
 
Giles, a fifth-year guard with the Wesmen women’s basketball team, led the Wesmen to a split on the road at Victoria, averaging 24 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and three steals per game. 
 
Saturday, Giles had her first conference 30-point game as a Wesmen scoring 30 with eight rebounds, three assists and three steals. She was 3-for-5 from three and 9-for-9 from the free throw line. It was her second career conference game with at least 30 points, having scored 31 in 2018 as a member of the Regina Cougars.
 
On Friday, Giles scored 18 points with seven rebounds, six assists and three steals.
