Ryan Luke's career-highs have earned him the Birchwood Auto Group Wesmen male athlete of the week.

Luke, a freshman forward on the Wesmen men's basketball team, posted a career-high 16 points off the bench as the Wesmen dominated in a 79-59 conference win over the Regina Cougars Friday night. He added nine rebounds and three blocks, both of which are also career-highs for the first-year from John Taylor Collegiate.

On Saturday, Luke was once again a solid contributor off the bench scoring 12 points with six rebounds and a career-high three assists. 

For the weekend, Luke was 3-for-5 from three-point range. 

The Wesmen are on the road at UNBC this weekend.
