Madison Priebe was thrown into the fire for her first appearance on her home turf.

The freshman keeper with the Wesmen women's soccer team is the Birchwood Auto Group female athlete of the week after making a series of spectacular saves in a loss to UBC on Saturday. Priebe, who made her Wesmen debut nine days prior at UNBC, was subbed in at halftime for starter Taryn Raabe and proceeded to make a career-high six saves against the nation's No. 1-ranked team.
