After making his Duckworth Centre debut, Alex Krykewich is the Birchwood Auto Group Wesmen male athlete of the week. 
Krykewich, a second-year setter, made his first two career starts on home court last weekend against the Alberta Golden Bears, the No. 1-ranked team in the country.
On Friday, in a four-set loss, Krykewich had 19 assists and six digs. He followed that up Saturday with 28 assists, a match-high 10 digs as well as four kills on eight attempts.
